How the U.S. Is Doing
Respondents to the AARP 2007 Work and Career Study said they believe age discrimination
exists in the working world. Six in ten (60%) believe that age discrimination exists
in the workplace, and 13 percent say they have personally experienced such discrimination
in the past five years. (AARP, WORK AND CAREER STUDY, 2007)
