Welcome to Virginia's Age Wave Preparedness Resource Center
We're facing unprecedented challenges from the enormous aging population wave that
is beginning to roll through Virginia. Now is the time for communities and businesses
to prepare -- and the Older Dominion Partnership wants to give you the tools to
do so.
This resource center will identify leading performance indicators of individual,
business, and community-level preparedness, point to data and information on each,
and start sharing preparedness information and best practices. We'll begin by focusing
on Metro Richmond, then use that model to add communities across Virginia. We invite
you to read more below and join us as we meet the challenges and opportunites of
the age wave. Read more »

Virginia's Community Based Age Wave Plans
The following are direct links to community-based age wave preparedness plans. These
plans extend beyond the Commonwealth's four-year Plan -- the QAA required for federal
funding. They were all inspired by and crafted by stakeholders in each locality.
The Richmond region has formerly started its age wave preparedness planning process.
